Friends of Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum Road Run and Annual Classic Vehicle Show
Winner of the Best 1600 E (our Show theme for 2017) Won by Mr Steve Marsh This year’s Road Run and Annual Classic Vehicle Show took place over the weekend of the 8th & 9th July 2017.
We welcomed classic vehicles of all descriptions to the event and this year’s theme was in celebration of 50 years of the Ford Cortina 1600E.
The Annual Show took place in the grounds of the Motor Museum on Sunday 9th July.
Peter James, of Peter James Insurance, drew the winning ticket (3836) for the Mazda MX5 Nevada Draw - the winner was Mr John Coughlan from Wells.
Awards were made for the best vehicles in each category (Cars, Motorcycles, Commercial Vehicles and Tractors) and the Atwell Wilson Memorial Trophy was awarded to the Best Restored Vehicle.

Best Tractor - Mr Graham Knight, 1944 Oliver
Best Commercial - Mr Michael Cooper, 1952 Morris Commercial
Best Motorcycle - Mr Nigel Leighton, 1963 Triumph Bonneville
The Atwell Wilson Memorial Shield - Mr Tony Nott, 1959 Rover P4
