Prize Mini Collected - December 2015
Mr Andy Conmee from Bristol, won this year's Friends' prize draw and is now the proud owner of the 1997 Mini Cooper. Chairman of the Friends Mike Bain handed over the keys at the museum on 12 December (see image). The winning ticket was number 13313 and was drawn by Councillor Howard Marshall, Calne Town Mayor at the Friends' Mulled Wine Evening on 5 December. At the same event we also launched our 2016 prize - a 1976 MG Midget!

New model collection on display - September 2015
We officially welcomed a new collection of model lorries to the Museum. Mrs Beryl Spittle came to the Museum on September 19th to officially hand over the models made by her late husband Jack over a period of thirty years. They are now displayed in the Museum in the specially designed shop front. Many thanks to Beryl for the impressive collection! Coverage of the event is on the Gazette and Herald website.
Friends Show 2015 - July 2015

Drive it day - April 2015
The Atwell Wilson Motor Museum was pleased to host visiting clubs celebrating the NBHVC 'Drive it Day' on Sunday April 26th. During the day, we had 31 Morgans from DunMog (Leicester) and SwanMog (Wilts and Berks); 17 Triumph TR's from Chiltern TR Register, around 20 Minis from Moles Mini Club, a variety of Jaguars from the JEC (Wiltshire) and an assortment of machines from Barkham & District Car Club plus a few individual drivers and their wonderful machines!
Annual Show 12 July 2015 - Entry forms now available
More details of the Friends of the Atwell Wilson Motor Museum 13th Annual Classic Vehicle Show are now available. The show will be held on Sunday 12th July 2015, with a road run and pub meal on the 11th July. This year's theme is a celebration of Mk1 and Mk2 Jaguars. Hundreds of people are expected to attend and there will be the usual prizes awarded on the day. Entry forms are available on the show webpage and should be returned by 26 June.
Lea Francis at Swindon Designer Outlet - February 2015
The Lea Francis from our Museum is at the Swindon Designer Outlet throughout February. With thanks to Moss Bros and Phase Eight for providing the bride and groom!
Riley Elf collected - January 2015
Paul Bodiam came to collect his prize from the Museum on 2 January 2015. The car was handed over by Friends' Chairman Mike Bain (see photo), with volunteers who sold tickets throughout the year also on hand. We're delighted the car has gone to a good home and is being appreciated.
